Delete your account & data

Sign in with the Google account you use for Namaste, and we will record your deletion request. Signing in is how we confirm the account is yours — nobody can request deletion of an account they cannot sign into.

How this works

Sign in below with the same Google account you use in the Namaste app.

Submit the request. You can add a reason, but it is optional.

We record the request and action it. Your account stays usable until it is processed, and we will contact you at your registered email if we need anything.

Submitting this does not close your account instantly. It files a request that a person reviews, so an accidental click cannot destroy your posters.

What gets deleted

When the request is actioned, we remove or irreversibly anonymise:

  • Your profile — name, email, mobile number, profile photo and language preference
  • Your business profile — business name, logo, address and contact details
  • Your political profile — party, leader selections and associated details
  • Posters and other content you created or customised in the app
  • Your Google sign-in link to Namaste

Some records are kept where the law requires it — invoices and payment records, for example, must be retained for statutory periods under Indian tax law. These are kept only for that purpose and are not used to identify you for anything else. Our Privacy Policy sets out the retention rules in full.

An active paid subscription is not refunded automatically by deleting your account — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You can also do this from the Namaste app: open the side menu and choose Delete account. Or write to support@namasteapps.com from your registered email address and we will handle it.
